About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, highly regarded long day care service located in Melbourne’s south-eastern growth corridor. The centre is continuing to strengthen its educational program and is seeking an experienced Room Leader to support and drive high-quality practice within their Pre-Kindergarten room. As a Diploma or Bachelor qualified Room Leader, you will lead the planning and implementation of engaging, child-led learning experiences aligned with the EYLF & VEYLDF for a group of up to 22 children. You will work collaboratively with two experienced educators to foster a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment that supports children’s development and school readiness. There is a strong focus on reflective practice, ongoing professional development and delivering meaningful, play-based learning experiences. About You You are a passionate early childhood professional who believes in delivering high-quality education from the earliest years. You advocate for children’s voices, understand the importance of intentional teaching, and are confident implementing the EYLF & VEYLDF within your daily planning and documentation. You will ideally bring: A Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood (ACECQA approved) Current WWCC (Employee) and/or VIT registration (if applicable) Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certificates Strong knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF and NQS Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid working rights in Australia 1–2 years’ experience leading a Kindergarten or Pre-Kinder room Current Mandatory Reporting certification About anzuk Education At anzuk Education, we provide a complimentary service to all educators, including CV support, interview preparation and guidance to help you secure your next role with confidence.
